Leave your email for occasional Ultimate Hattrick updates and beta notes. Nothing else — we never share or sell it, and you can unsubscribe from any email. Signing in with Hattrick never asks for it.
Hattrick's own lineup tool tells you where your players stand. This one tells you how good that XI actually is - live sector ratings, a scouted opponent, and a win probability that moves every time you swap a player. It sits alongside Hattrick, not instead of it: you sign in with your Hattrick account, and the orders you set here go straight back to the game.
Hattrick already lets you pick eleven players and press save. It doesn't tell you whether the eleven you picked are the right ones. That gap is the whole point of this.
Sector ratings and HatStats recalculate the moment you drag a player - defence left, centre and right, midfield, all three attacks, set pieces. No saving, no reloading, no guessing which swap helped.
We pull your next opponent's last few finished matches over CHPP and average their real sector ratings. Your numbers are shown against theirs, side by side, rather than in a vacuum.
Expected goals for both sides and a win / draw / loss split, calibrated to your own CHPP-rated level so it reflects your team and not a generic one. Swap a striker and watch it move.
Hattrick shows you a playmaking level; this shows you a fit score for each player in each of the 14 slots - your inner midfielder as a winger, your defender as a keeper - so the move you would never test in a live match is a number, not a hunch.
Auto-pick tries every legal shape and every tactic against this specific opponent, and shows you what each is worth. It will tell you when Normal beats the clever option.
Conditional substitutions, individual orders and set-piece takers - all pre-programmed here and submitted back to Hattrick, so the game gets exactly what you set.
Your team, your matches and your orders all live in Hattrick - this reads them over the official CHPP API and writes your match orders back, and only ever when you press Send. Nothing here changes your team on its own, so you can stop using it tomorrow and lose nothing.
Next match, form, league table, squad health - everything important on one screen, so you stop opening six tabs to answer one question.
Skills, form, stamina, wages and TSI - plus a dated history of every move, so a skill pop or a TSI jump is provable rather than remembered.
The sidebar prices every change as you make it: all seven sector ratings with their plain-word levels, HatStats, expected goals both ways, a win / draw / loss split and a suggested tactic - against your scouted opponent, not in the abstract.
Conditional substitutions, individual orders and set-piece takers, set before kick-off and submitted straight back to Hattrick. No scrambling at half-time.
Post-match breakdowns with sector ratings, possession flow, and a plain-English tactical summary - so the next lineup is better informed than the last.
Search the market in plain English. Every result is scored against your actual gaps, with one line on why it fits your squad rather than just its price.
An AI assistant reads your squad, your saved XI and the opponent - then writes a game plan and answers follow-ups in chat. Its tactic comes from the same engine as the prediction, and your standing instructions are remembered.
Squad, scouts, league and friendlies for the youth side, with potential scores and a clear promote-or-release call for every prospect once the scouts have said their piece.
I'm relatively new to Hattrick, and I kept hitting the same wall: I could set a lineup easily enough, but I had no idea whether it was a good one. Was that winger worth playing? Would a different shape hold up against this opponent? The numbers existed - they just weren't anywhere I could compare them.
So I started building the missing half. Ultimate Hattrick reads your team over the official CHPP API, puts a real match engine behind the pitch, and writes your orders back to the game. It's a personal project growing into something I think the community might find useful.
It's free, it's early, and it's getting better every week.
This project is in beta. Not everything works perfectly yet, and that's OK. Your feedback helps shape what comes next.
The public changelog tracks user-facing changes, fixes and product polish. The latest release is v0.35.2 from 26 Aug 2026.

Hattrick is a free online football management game that has been running for over 20 years. You manage a team - set tactics, train players, buy and sell on the transfer market, train youth prospects, and compete in leagues. Ultimate Hattrick is a companion tool, not the game itself.
Hattrick's lineup tool is for placing eleven players. This one is for judging them. Move a player and the sector ratings, HatStats, expected goals and win probability all recalculate immediately - measured against your next opponent's real ratings, averaged from their last few finished matches, and calibrated to your own CHPP-rated level. It also scores every player in all 14 slots (including the secondary roles you would not think to try), compares whole formations and tactics against that opponent, and lets you pre-program conditional substitutions. When you are happy, it submits the orders back to Hattrick. You still need Hattrick - this is the analysis layer on top of it.
No, and it could not. Your team, matches, training and transfers all live in Hattrick; this reads them over the official CHPP API and writes your match orders back. It is somewhere to think before you commit, not a second copy of the game. Stop using it tomorrow and you lose nothing.
Yes. The core tools are free and always will be. There are no ads. Some optional AI-powered features may become a paid add-on in the future, but the essential tools - lineup, squad, transfers, match analysis and youth screens - will stay free.
Through the official CHPP (Certified Hattrick Product Program) API. You authenticate directly on Hattrick.org - we never see your password. The connection allows reading your team data and submitting actions like match orders on your behalf.
The live app covers dashboard, squad, lineup, team orders, match analysis, transfers, senior and youth views, notifications, AI briefings, AI auto-pick, AI transfer search, and a squad report. The changelog shows the recent pace of updates.
It means the app is actively being built. The core workflows are real and connected, but bugs are still expected and some features will keep changing. Your feedback helps shape the direction - that is the point of opening it up early.
Ultimate Hattrick can submit match orders and youth actions to Hattrick on your behalf - but only when you explicitly press Send. Every write action shows you exactly what will be submitted and requires your confirmation. You can revoke access at any time from Hattrick's settings.
Yes. The app has a youth section with squad, league, scouts, match analysis, tactician and match-order screens. Managers with more than one senior club can switch teams from inside the app.
AI is optional and controlled by a user setting. If enabled, the app can use relevant team, player or match context to explain picks, brief matches and rank transfer results. Without AI, deterministic fallbacks still keep the screens usable.
Nothing to set up and nothing to lose - it reads the team you already have. Sign in with your Hattrick manager account to get started; you'll authorise on Hattrick.org, and we never see your password.
